Assignment
The goal was the modernization of the online presence and thus the digital realignment of the MEDION brand. Our customer's wish was to focus on user-optimized content: The user should receive tailor-made information which offers him orientation possibilities in the process of his purchase decision. In short, the project was to set the framework for the next level of e-commerce.
Timeline
Based on more than 50 user stories, we developed a completely new concept as well as a modern user interface design that is perfectly tailored to MEDION AG's target group. In addition to the visual appearance, the complete technical infrastructure based on SAP hybris was renewed. The modules were designed to be variable and sustainable so that new digital services could be rolled out at any time.
Result
Modern image, more shopping experience: the digital relaunch gives the online presence of the MEDION brand a new face. The online shop primarily offers a user experience tailored to MEDION's main male target group, making online shopping convenient, cross-device and needs-oriented. The first step towards more customer proximity online has been taken - and thus the foundation stone has been laid for the company to be able to assert itself successfully on the market in the long term.
